The bills restaurants in Sydney are loved for their simple, everyday foods made with fresh local ingredients, combined with a communal feel and casual yet sophisticated atmosphere. Bill Granger’s first restaurant outside of Sydney, in Kamakura’s Shichirigahama, maintains the same concept, and classics such as the organic scrambled eggs and ricotta hotcakes with honeycomb butter are proving such a universal favourite that they are now available all day.
Inspired by the views, community and ingredients of the Shichirigahama location, Bill Granger worked with Japanese designers to create what he describes as his own beach house – an open, relaxing lounge and dining room overlooking surf beaches and Enoshima Island. Not just a restaurant, bills is a refreshing destination for families, friends and individuals from near and far to take time out from the pressures of everyday life.
